[ He's just in time, to see her standing in front of her desk, beneath a sprig of mistletoe floating in midair. There's a small notecard hanging from the plant with writing on it. ]
There you are, Naegi-kun. I'll require your assistance in getting out of this unusual situation.
[His pulse is still loud in his ears from the panic, cake box gripped tightly in one hand as he gasps and catches his breath, so it takes a moment for Naegi to realize that Kirigiri isn't in any apparent danger.
He shuts his eyes for a minute, swallows, and tries to be calm as he responds.]
What... exactly happened to you? And- [Naegi's eyebrows furrow, baffled.] Is that... mistletoe?

[Naegi freezes, everything coming to an abrupt halt in his mind. He's seen Kirigiri's handwriting like this before. Only one other time, but...
His heart starts to pound as he bolts for the office, louder and louder as he runs, until it's cacophonous in his ears.
Naegi almost trips on the stairs in his rush to get up them, but then he's bursting through the office doors, looking around wildly to find her.]
Kirigiri-san-?!
[Please let him be in time.]
